Equipment Check List · 24 points

• Sanitize the work area.
• Verify the functionality of the thermostat.
• Ensure proper operation of the system.
• Clean and inspect the blower, blower motor, and blower compartment.
• Clean and inspect the coil, pan, and condensate drain.
• Check the capacitor and all wiring and connections.
• Perform a visual inspection of circuit boards.
• Check the power switch or service disconnect.
• Verify the availability of appropriate voltage supply.
• Ensure proper functioning of all safety mechanisms.
• Measure motor amps.
• Check for carbon monoxide, smoke detection, and safety measures.
• Visually inspect all duct connections.
• Verify proper operation of unit.
• Clean and inspect the inside of the equipment and coil.
• Visual inspection of the fan blades and motor.
• Brush out dirt and dust built-up in coils and entire outside equipment.
• Make sure all wiring is safe and tightly connected.
• Inspect and test the run capacitor.
• Check compressor and condenser fan amps and ratings.
• Ensure all safety features are connected and functioning.
• Inspect refrigerant lines, valves, and ensure proper capping.
• Replace commercial air filters both visits — 4 total each visit (2″ pleated MERV 13 filter, 20x25x2).
• Replace V-belt (blower motor belt) during the fall/winter visit.
