1. Our Commitment

Tario HVAC, LLC is committed to making tariohvac.com usable by everyone, including people with disabilities, consistent with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Accessibility is treated as an ongoing part of how we build and maintain this site — not a one-time project.

2. Conformance Standard

Our target is conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, motor, cognitive, and hearing impairments.

3. Measures We've Taken

This site is built with the following accessibility measures in place:

• Reduced-motion support: all animations — including the homepage temperature interactions, scroll reveals, marquees, and flame effects — respect the prefers-reduced-motion setting and fall back to static presentations.
• Keyboard operability: navigation menus, dropdowns, the mobile menu, interactive homepage elements (including the house diagnostic hotspots and temperature slider), accordions, and forms are usable by keyboard, with logical focus order.
• Visible focus states: interactive controls display visible focus indicators (focus-visible rings) against their actual backgrounds.
• Semantic structure: pages use semantic HTML landmarks (header, navigation, main, footer), one H1 per page, ordered heading levels, and a skip-to-content link.
• Text alternatives: meaningful images carry descriptive alt text; decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology.
• Contrast-checked design: our design system was built against WCAG contrast minimums for body and display text on their real backgrounds.
• Accessible forms: form fields are labeled, errors are announced inline, and no conversion path depends on color alone; phone contact is always available as an alternative to any form.

4. Known Limitations

Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. Currently known limitations include:

• Some decorative animated elements (particle and flame effects) are visual enhancements; while they honor reduced-motion settings and are hidden from screen readers, their visual information is decorative by design.
• Older photographs in the gallery may have simpler descriptions than newer content while we continue improving alt text.

Some content on this site is provided by third parties whose accessibility we do not control, including the Google Maps embed on our contact page and the Wells Fargo financing application, which takes place on Wells Fargo's own website.
